Since my days in the painting studios at the College of Art, where the views looked out to the San Francisco skyline and the west side of the Bay Bridge, I've admired the dynamic angles, deep shadows and weathered facades of our famous bridges. This series is somewhat of  a new direction for me. I am excited to be painting an essential part of this urban landscape that has been an integral part of my life as well as so many others.
